How reliable are the shipping times from Etrailer?

Their website claims to have many options, but the truth is you are wasting your $ paying for expedited shipping. First you have to count business days because their shipper (UPS) doesn't work on weekends. So no matter what day you order if any of that ship time falls on a weekend- add 2 days. Also, even if it is listed as shipped, the first day doesn't count. Your package can be considered shipped because a label was generated, but wait on the docks until UPS decides to pick it up - starting UPS's counter. Lastly - they use UPS. I worked in shipping and receiving for many years. While the drivers were always pleasant, I chose to ship Fed Ex whenever possible. They are just more reliable and willing to make it right if there was a problem.
Personally, I am so turned off by my initial purchase that I will just buy locally in the future. As it stands, I am putting off a cross country move for 3 extra days because 3 day shipling really means 6 to E Trailer.
Weather notwithstanding, most orders from eTrailers arrive on schedule. It is only during special events such as holidays that deliveries do not arrive as they usually do. Aside from holidays, the weather of the destination city or country also plays a major role in the arrival of the order. Orders from eTrailer are delivered via UPS.
